However, you can also wait a couple of weeks and watch Onward on Disney Plus when it drops on the service April 3.

In its press release, Disney admitted it was offering this movie early to digital platforms because theaters are “currently impacted by closures due to the global health crisis.”
What is Onward?
Directed by Dan Scanlon, who previously directed Monsters University, Onward takes place in a fantasy world filled with elves, monsters, and more creatures. This land also once had tons of magic users. Now, magic is largely unused as technology has taken over this land. However, two elven brothers, voiced by Tom Holland and Chris Pratt, find a magical staff and gem that can resurrect their dead father for one day. Due to an issue with the gem, the staff only brings back the father’s lower body half. The two brothers must go on a quest to find another gem to complete the spell, and see their dad again, before the day ends.
