Does the Samsung Galaxy S20 series support microSD cards?
Last year Samsung surprised us by removing the microSD card from the base Samsung Galaxy Note 10 model. The good news is that the Korean giant has reversed this trend by offering microSD support on all three of its Samsung Galaxy S20 variants. So YES, microSD is fully supported — up to 1TB.
So what microSD card should you pair with your new Galaxy S20, Plus, or Ultra? While any modern microSD card will technically work, there are a few things to consider. First, the speedier the card the better the performance. Second, you’ll want a card that has a reputation for quality. While there are many great brands out there we primarily recommend SanDisk and Samsung for their combination of pricing and reliability.
SanDisk microSD cards
Sandisk is one of the first companies to introduce microSD cards with the A1 rating, and these Class 10 UHS 1 microSD cards are some of the best options if you are looking for fast app performance. The 16GB and 32GB versions of the cards offer maximum transfer speeds up to 98MBps, while the higher storage versions, going all the way up to 512GB, bump that up to 100MBps.

The Samsung EVO Select microSD cards are Class 10 UHS 3 cards that offer storage capacities starting from 32GB all the way up to 512GB and you get up to 100MBps and 95MBps read and write speeds respectively with them.
