Leaked Samsung Galaxy A71 renders reveal quad-camera setup (Update: New render)
Update, December 5, 2019 (5:58pm ET): On Twitter, known leaker Evan Blass posted an image of what he alleges to be the Samsung Galaxy A71. It’s identical to the renders released a few weeks ago, though Blass’ leak doesn’t show off the Galaxy A71’s back. You can see the leaked image for yourself below.
Original article, November 21, 2019 (11:30am ET): Last week, we saw leaked renders of Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy A51 device. Now, notorious tipster @OnLeaks has partnered with CashKaro to release several exclusive CAD renders and a 360-degree video of another one of Samsung’s upcoming mid-rangers — the Samsung Galaxy A71.
These renders show what looks like a quad rear-camera setup, a single hole punch front-facing camera, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It also looks like the device will tout USB-C, and CashKaro claims it will have an FHD 6.7-inch display.
The overall dimensions of the Samsung Galaxy A71 will supposedly be 163.5 x 76 x 7.9mm — 9.2mm for the camera bump. And as far as specs are concerned, it’s expected to come with the Snapdragon 675 SoC, the Adreno 612 GPU, a 4,500mAh battery, and 8GB of RAM.
What really sets the Samsung Galaxy A71 apart though, is its rear camera layout. Similar to what we saw in the recent Samsung Galaxy A51 renders, the L-shaped camera array sports a 48MP main shooter accompanied by a 12MP wide-angle sensor, a 12MP telephoto sensor, and a 3D TOF sensor.

Akin to the Galaxy Note 10 line, the front-facing camera on the Galaxy A71 will be a centered hole-punch style camera with a 32MP sensor. It’s also said to launch with Android 10, undoubtedly with Samsung’s One UI skin on top.
There is no official word on when we can expect to see the Samsung Galaxy A71 in person, but hopefully, we will hear from Samsung sooner than later. In the meantime, what do you think of the design of the phone, based on these renders? Are you content with the supposed specs list?
